What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement grants the franchisee the right and obligation to establish and operate a Beggars Pizza restaurant under the company's proprietary marks and system. This restaurant must be operated at a location approved by Beggars Pizza, as specified in Exhibit A of the franchise agreement, referred to as the "Approved Location."

The agreement emphasizes that the franchisee cannot relocate the Beggars Pizza restaurant without prior written approval from the franchisor, who may withhold such approval at their discretion. This condition ensures that Beggars Pizza maintains control over the location of its franchises, which is crucial for brand consistency and market strategy.

This definition of "Restaurant" in the Beggars Pizza franchise agreement highlights the importance of adhering to the franchisor's standards and obtaining their approval for location-related decisions. For a prospective franchisee, this means they must secure an approved location and cannot move the restaurant without explicit permission, impacting their operational flexibility.
