What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to the implementation of SpeedLine equipment and software, the customer (franchisee) is responsible for meeting SpeedLine's implementation criteria for site preparation, facilities, and specifications. These criteria are detailed in the SpeedLine Solutions System Implementation Requirements, which are provided to the customer. The franchisee must also maintain these criteria after implementation.
This means a prospective Beggars Pizza franchisee needs to ensure their location meets all the technical and physical requirements specified by SpeedLine before the SpeedLine system is installed. This could involve specific electrical configurations, network infrastructure, or environmental conditions necessary for the proper functioning of the SpeedLine system. Failing to meet these requirements could delay implementation or result in system malfunctions.
Furthermore, SpeedLine is not responsible for incompatibilities or problems caused by the franchisee's failure to meet and maintain the implementation criteria for the equipment and software. Therefore, it is crucial for a Beggars Pizza franchisee to carefully review and adhere to the SpeedLine Solutions System Implementation Requirements to avoid potential issues and ensure a smooth implementation process. This also highlights the importance of communication and coordination between the franchisee and SpeedLine during the site preparation phase.
