What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, if the currency for payments to SpeedLine has not been specified in the Quote, the customer agrees that all payments will be made in United States currency. This applies to fees as set forth in the Quote, the Agreement, or as otherwise agreed in writing.
This means that if a Beggars Pizza franchisee enters into an agreement with SpeedLine for services such as online ordering, and the specific currency is not listed in the Quote (the pricing document), the default currency for all payments will be U.S. dollars. This is important for franchisees, especially those operating near international borders or those who may have customers or suppliers who prefer to transact in other currencies.
It is the franchisee's responsibility to ensure that the currency is clearly specified in the Quote to avoid any confusion or unexpected currency conversion costs. If a franchisee anticipates needing to make payments in a currency other than U.S. dollars, they should discuss this with SpeedLine and have it documented in writing within the Quote or Agreement. Otherwise, Beggars Pizza franchisees should be prepared to make all payments to SpeedLine in United States currency.
