What is the cost to the Beggars Pizza franchisee for the franchisor to license use of data back to them?

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor licenses the use of data back to the franchisee at no additional cost. This data is intended solely for the franchisee's use in connection with the establishment and operation of their Beggars Pizza restaurant, and this license is valid only for the term of the Franchise Agreement.

Beggars Pizza collects data provided by the franchisee, uploaded to or downloaded from the franchisor's system, or otherwise obtained from the franchisee. This data, along with other data created or collected by the franchisee in connection with the system or the restaurant's operation (including consumer and transaction data), is owned exclusively by the franchisor. The franchisor can use this data in any manner they deem appropriate without compensating the franchisee.

However, the franchisee benefits from being able to use this data to manage and improve their own restaurant during the term of the agreement.
