What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company has the discretion to designate the format and location of required training courses, seminars, conferences, monthly or annual meetings, and other training programs. These events may be held in person at locations chosen by Beggars Pizza. However, the company also has the option to conduct these trainings and meetings remotely.

Specifically, Beggars Pizza can use methods such as the Internet, intranet, or conference calls to deliver the required training. This provides flexibility for both the franchisor and the franchisee, potentially reducing travel costs and time commitments. It also allows Beggars Pizza to reach a wider audience more efficiently.

While Beggars Pizza will provide instructors, training materials, and technical training tools at no charge for the initial training program, the franchisee is responsible for registration fees, transportation, lodging, meals, and wages incurred during both the initial and any additional training programs or mandatory meetings. This means franchisees need to factor in these additional costs when budgeting for their franchise investment.
