What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza FDD, if a customer wants to perform their own implementation and training for the SpeedLine software, they must first have their personnel complete SpeedLine's training to SpeedLine's satisfaction. Furthermore, the customer must use personnel trained by SpeedLine to perform the implementation and training in accordance with SpeedLine's specifications and standards, and with SpeedLine's advance written approval.
This means that while Beggars Pizza franchisees have the option to handle the software implementation and training themselves, they cannot do so without proper authorization and training from SpeedLine. This ensures that the software is correctly implemented and that the franchisee's staff is adequately trained to use it, maintaining quality and consistency across all locations.
If additional training is required for new or replacement personnel of the customer, SpeedLine retains the right to charge for this additional training at its then-current standard charge rate, plus expenses. This condition protects SpeedLine's interests and ensures that Beggars Pizza franchisees continue to adhere to SpeedLine's standards even with staff changes.
