What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company communicates changes regarding designated suppliers to its franchisees through the franchise operations manual or in writing. Specifically, Beggars Pizza may specify new suppliers for products, materials, supplies, paper goods, fixtures, furnishings, and equipment used or sold at the restaurant.
This means that franchisees are required to purchase items that meet Beggars Pizza's standards and specifications from the franchisor, its affiliates, or designated suppliers. These suppliers must demonstrate their ability to meet Beggars Pizza's quality standards, have adequate quality controls, and be able to promptly and reliably supply the franchisee's needs.
As a prospective franchisee, it is crucial to understand that Beggars Pizza retains the right to modify the list of approved suppliers. Therefore, franchisees must stay informed of any updates communicated through the manual or in writing to ensure compliance and maintain the uniform quality and image associated with the Beggars Pizza brand. This also ensures that franchisees are purchasing from sources that meet the franchisor's standards.
