What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, Beggars Pizza communicates changes regarding approved suppliers to its franchisees through the franchise operations manual or in writing. Franchisees are required to purchase all food items, ingredients, supplies, materials, and equipment from Beggars Pizza, its affiliates, or from suppliers that Beggars Pizza has designated. These designated suppliers must meet Beggars Pizza's standards and specifications and have adequate quality controls and capacity to supply the franchisee's needs promptly and reliably.
Beggars Pizza may require franchisees to purchase approved products, equipment, and merchandise exclusively from Beggars Pizza or its affiliates. Beggars Pizza has developed certain proprietary, confidential, and trade secret recipes, including pizza dough, spaghetti and pizza sauces, sausage, and secret spice blends. Beggars Pizza sells these products through Begcom or other designated suppliers. Franchisees must purchase these items from Begcom or other designated suppliers to ensure the uniform quality and image associated with the Beggars Pizza restaurants.
This requirement ensures that all Beggars Pizza restaurants maintain consistent quality and standards. For a prospective franchisee, this means they must adhere to the approved supplier list and any updates communicated through the manual or in writing. Failure to comply with these requirements could result in a breach of the franchise agreement.
