Answer from 2025 FDD Document

In connection with Speedline's software, you must sign various software license agreements, software purchase

agreement, and other related agreements (collectively, the "Speedline Agreements"). The current forms of the Speedline Agreements are attached hereto as Exhibit I; however, the Speedline Agreements may be revised by Speedline at any time. Our affiliates have used versions of Speedline's software in connection with the operation of their affiliate-owned Beggars Pizza® Restaurants since October 2002.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase and use a computer/point of sale system that Beggars Pizza specifies, which currently includes Speedline's software. In connection with using Speedline's software, franchisees must sign various agreements. These agreements include software license agreements, software purchase agreements, and other related agreements, which are collectively referred to as the "Speedline Agreements."

The FDD indicates that the current forms of these Speedline Agreements are attached as Exhibit I, but it also notes that Speedline may revise these agreements at any time. This means the specific terms and conditions are subject to change by Speedline, the software provider, and not directly controlled by Beggars Pizza. Beggars Pizza's affiliates have used versions of Speedline's software since October 2002.

Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibit I of the FDD to understand the obligations and responsibilities outlined in the Speedline Agreements. Given that these agreements are subject to change by Speedline, it would be prudent for potential franchisees to inquire about the most current versions of these agreements and any recent or anticipated revisions to fully understand their commitments and costs associated with the software.
