Pre-Opening Obligations
Before the Restaurant opens, we must provide the following to you:

- If you do not have an approved location before signing your Franchise Agreement, you will sign the site selection addendum (the "Site Selection Addendum") attached to the Franchise Agreement as Exhibit B, and we will provide you with such site selection guidelines and consultation as we deem advisable (Franchise Agreement, Exhibit B, Paragraph 5);

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit B attached to the document is the Site Selection Addendum. This addendum is signed if a prospective franchisee does not have an approved location before signing the Franchise Agreement.
Under the Site Selection Addendum, the franchisee must submit a proposed site to Beggars Pizza for approval within 60 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. Beggars Pizza will then notify the franchisee in writing of their approval or disapproval within 30 days. Beggars Pizza will consider factors such as zoning, approvals from agencies, noise restrictions, size, layout, and proposed lease terms when reviewing a proposed site.
Beggars Pizza will provide site selection guidelines and consultation and conduct two on-site evaluations at their expense. However, the franchisee must reimburse Beggars Pizza for expenses, including travel, lodging, and meals, for each additional on-site evaluation beyond the initial two. The approval of the proposed site depends on the factors listed in the Franchise Agreement, Exhibit B.
