What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee must secure a site that Beem Light Sauna has accepted by signing a Site Lease or purchase agreement within 90 days after the effective date of the Franchise Agreement, referred to as the Site Acquisition Deadline. Beem Light Sauna may extend this deadline by up to 90 days in its sole discretion.
However, this extension is not guaranteed. Beem Light Sauna has the right to require the franchisee to execute a general release as a condition of agreeing to grant such an extension. This means that to get the extension, the franchisee might have to release Beem Light Sauna from any potential claims or liabilities.
If Beem Light Sauna has accepted a site for the franchisee's Studio, and the franchisee is unable or unwilling to acquire that site or an alternative site that Beem Light Sauna accepts by the Site Acquisition Deadline, Beem Light Sauna has the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement. This underscores the importance of securing an appropriate site within the given timeframe and the potential consequences of failing to do so.
