What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while the initial training program is included in the franchise fee for required trainees who attend the same session, subsequent training programs may incur a cost. Beem Light Sauna reserves the right to charge a training fee for each person attending a subsequent initial training program. This includes individuals repeating the course, replacing someone who didn't pass, or subsequent Operating Principals, Designated Managers, or employees attending the course.
The training fee for these subsequent programs will not exceed $1,000 per day per trainee. Beem Light Sauna has no obligation to refund this training fee, either in whole or in part, for any reason. This means that if a franchisee's representative needs to repeat the initial training, or if a new manager joins the team, the franchisee should anticipate paying this additional training fee.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisors often charge for additional training to cover their costs and ensure consistent quality across all franchise locations. Prospective Beem Light Sauna franchisees should factor these potential training costs into their budget and understand the circumstances under which these fees may apply. It is important to note that the franchisor determines the specifics of the training program, including the length, timing, location, and content, at their sole discretion.
