What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training is provided at no additional charge as long as all trainees attend the same training session. However, Beem Light Sauna reserves the right to charge a training fee of up to $1,000 (currently $500) per trainee per day for subsequent training programs. This includes individuals repeating the course, replacing someone who didn't pass, or any subsequent Operating Principal, Designated Manager, or employee attending the course.
This means that while the initial group training is covered under the franchise fee, franchisees will incur additional costs for any subsequent or repeated training sessions. This could arise if a trainee fails the initial training, if there's a need to train replacement personnel, or if new management or employees require training later on. These fees can add up quickly, especially if multiple days of training are needed or if several individuals require retraining.
It is important for prospective Beem Light Sauna franchisees to factor in these potential additional training costs when budgeting for their franchise. Franchisees should ensure their initial trainees are well-prepared and successful in their first attempt to avoid these extra expenses. Additionally, franchisees should consider the potential turnover of staff and the associated costs of training replacements.
