What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training is provided as part of the franchise fee for required trainees, provided they are all trained at the same time. However, Beem Light Sauna reserves the right to charge a training fee under specific circumstances. This fee, referred to as the "Training Fee," will be the then-current initial training fee, but will not exceed $1,000 per day per trainee.
Beem Light Sauna may charge the Training Fee for each representative attending a subsequent initial training program. This includes individuals repeating the course, replacing someone who didn't pass, or subsequent Operating Principals, Designated Managers, or employees attending the course. This means that if the initial trainees do not successfully complete the training, or if the franchisee replaces a manager, additional training costs may be incurred.
The FDD emphasizes that Beem Light Sauna is under no obligation to refund the Training Fee, either in whole or in part, regardless of the reason. This policy underscores the importance of ensuring that the initial trainees are well-prepared and capable of completing the training successfully, as any need for повторное training will result in additional, non-refundable expenses for the franchisee.
