Prior to opening the Studio, you (or your Operating Principal, if you are an Entity) and your Designated Manager (collectively, "Required Trainees") must personally attend and satisfactorily complete our initial training program ("Initial Training"). We will provide Initial Training as soon as practicable after the execution and delivery of this Agreement at our offices, at any other location that we designate, and/or remotely via recorded media, teleconference, videoconference, the Internet, webinar, or any other means, as we determine. We will determine the length, timing, location, and substance of Initial Training in our sole discretion. We may waive a portion of Initial Training or alter the training schedule if we determine that your Required Trainees have sufficient prior experience or training or have previously been trained at one of our Studios. Each subsequent Operating Principal and Designated Manager must attend our Initial Training unless we otherwise agree in writing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Required Trainees' who must attend and satisfactorily complete the initial training program are the franchisee (or the Operating Principal, if the franchisee is an entity) and the Designated Manager. This initial training is a prerequisite to opening a Beem Light Sauna studio. Beem Light Sauna will determine the specifics of the training, including the length, timing, location, and content.
The initial training is provided soon after the Franchise Agreement is executed. It can take place at Beem Light Sauna's offices, another designated location, or remotely through various digital means. Beem Light Sauna may waive or alter portions of the training if the trainees have sufficient prior experience or have been previously trained at one of their studios. Subsequent Operating Principals and Designated Managers are also required to attend the initial training unless Beem Light Sauna agrees otherwise in writing.
The cost of the initial training for the Required Trainees is included in the franchise fee, provided all trainees attend the same session. However, Beem Light Sauna reserves the right to charge a Training Fee for subsequent training programs, including repeat attendees or replacements, as well as for subsequent Operating Principals, Designated Managers, or employees.
If the Required Trainees fail to successfully complete the initial training, they must repeat it or be replaced by other trainees. Successful completion must occur at least 30 days before the studio opens or by an earlier deadline specified by Beem Light Sauna. Failure to complete the training does not result in a refund of the initial franchise fees. If the franchisee and their personnel complete the training and do not express any concerns about the adequacy of the training, they will be deemed sufficiently trained to operate a Beem Light Sauna studio.
