What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Training program is mandatory for specific individuals. If the franchisee is an individual, they must attend the training. If the franchisee is a business entity, then the Operating Principal is required to attend. In addition, the Designated Manager must also attend the Initial Training program. Beem Light Sauna refers to these individuals collectively as "Required Trainees".
Beem Light Sauna provides this Initial Training for the initial Required Trainees without any additional charge, provided that all trainees attend the same training session. However, if a trainee needs to repeat the program, replace someone who didn't pass, or if a subsequent Operating Principal, Designated Manager, or employee attends the program, Beem Light Sauna reserves the right to charge a training fee. This fee could be up to $1,000 per trainee per day, but is currently $500 per trainee per day.
It is important to note that while the Initial Training itself may be offered at no additional charge for the initial Required Trainees, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred by their trainees during the training program. Item 11 of the FDD provides a more detailed description of the Initial Training program.
