What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a prospective transferee will not be required to pay an initial franchise fee. However, the transferee must meet several conditions to be approved.
The transferee or its affiliates must not be in default under any agreements with Beem Light Sauna or its affiliates and must have a good record of customer service and compliance with the System Standards. Beem Light Sauna must also believe that the transferee has sufficient financial and operational capacity to operate additional Studios.
Furthermore, the transferee and their representatives must complete the then-current training requirements at their own expense. The transferee must also execute a written assignment agreeing to discharge all obligations under the Franchise Agreement and execute Beem Light Sauna's current form of personal guarantee and franchise agreement for new franchisees. The transferee is responsible for modernizing, renovating, or upgrading the Studio to meet the current System Standards for new Studios and must agree to continue operating the Studio under the Marks and using the System.
