Who owns the copyrights relating to the Beem Light Sauna system?

We are a franchisee of Beem Franchisor LLC ("Franchisor") under a Franchise Agreement dated [DATE] (the "Franchise Agreement"), pursuant to which Franchisor granted us the right to operate a franchised business (the "Studio") under the "beem® Light Sauna" name (the "Brand"). We have a license to use the Brand and certain other trademarks designated by Franchisor (collectively, the "Marks"), certain policies and procedures used in the operation of the Studios (the "System"), and the confidential information developed and owned by Franchisor and its affiliates in our Studio.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beem Franchisor LLC owns the rights to the Beem Light Sauna system. The FDD states that Beem Franchisor LLC grants the franchisee the right to operate a franchised business under the "beem® Light Sauna" name.
Specifically, the franchisee receives a license to use the Brand, trademarks, policies, and procedures, which are all part of the System. The confidential information used in the Studio is developed and owned by Beem Franchisor LLC and its affiliates.
This means that as a franchisee, you are licensing the right to use Beem Light Sauna's intellectual property, but you do not own it. Any unauthorized use of this intellectual property could result in legal action from the franchisor.
