What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beem Light Sauna Franchise Disclosure Document, Beem Light Sauna is not obligated to refund the Initial FF&E Payment, in whole or in part, for any reason. The Initial FF&E Payment is detailed in Appendix A and is required before the studio opens. This payment covers an initial package of furniture, fixtures, and equipment that Beem Light Sauna will provide to the franchisee.
This means that a prospective Beem Light Sauna franchisee should be aware that once the Initial FF&E Payment is made, it is non-refundable under any circumstances. This could include situations where the franchisee is unable to open the studio, terminates the franchise agreement early, or is otherwise dissatisfied with the equipment provided. The franchisee bears the full risk of this payment.
Franchisees may finance the Initial FF&E Payment through third parties, but this does not change the non-refundable nature of the payment. Additionally, franchisees may be required to purchase additional products or equipment from Beem Light Sauna, its affiliates, or designated vendors for an additional fee, separate from the Initial FF&E Payment. Therefore, it is crucial for potential franchisees to carefully consider their financial situation and thoroughly evaluate the FF&E package before making this payment, as there is no recourse for a refund.
