What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beem Light Sauna Franchise Disclosure Document, the Music Licensing Fee is intended to cover the cost for the right to play music and playlists within the studio. While franchisees typically must pay this fee, Section 3.12 regarding the Music Licensing Fee has been deleted from the agreement.

If Beem Light Sauna or its affiliates collect the fee, it will be equal to the cost charged by the providers or music clearing houses to Beem Light Sauna or its affiliates, plus an administrative fee of up to 5% of the fee charged to them. Beem Light Sauna may require franchisees to pay the Music Licensing Fee directly to their approved supplier.

This means that while a fee is typically required to play music in the studio, the franchisee should confirm whether this fee is still required, and if so, the amount and to whom it should be paid. Franchisees should also confirm whether the fee is paid to Beem Light Sauna, its affiliates, or directly to an approved third-party supplier.
