What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beem Light Sauna has the right to inspect a franchisee's studio without providing prior notice. Beem Light Sauna, through its employees or designated agents, can conduct inspections at any time during business hours.
These inspections can include examining the site and studio for compliance with the manuals, videotaping or photographing the studio's operations, interviewing employees, landlords, and customers, and reviewing various records such as invoices, payroll, sales tax records, and income tax records. Beem Light Sauna can also require franchisees to install and maintain a video surveillance system at the franchisee's expense, which Beem Light Sauna can access remotely.
If Beem Light Sauna identifies any deficiencies during an inspection, the franchisee is expected to correct them promptly. Failure to correct these deficiencies within a reasonable timeframe, not exceeding 30 days, allows Beem Light Sauna to correct them and charge the franchisee up to 120% of the costs incurred. While Beem Light Sauna typically bears the cost of inspections, franchisees may be charged for inspections necessitated by repeated failures to comply with the franchise agreement.
