Beem_Light_Sauna Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Prior to opening the Studio, you (or your Operating Principal, if you are an Entity) and your Designated Manager (collectively, "Required Trainees") must personally attend and satisfactorily complete our initial training program ("Initial Training").
Each subsequent Operating Principal and Designated Manager must attend our Initial Training unless we otherwise agree in writing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beem Light Sauna Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is an entity, the Operating Principal and Designated Manager must complete the initial training program. Beem Light Sauna may alter the training schedule if the Required Trainees have sufficient prior experience or training. The FDD does not explicitly state whether the Operating Principal and Designated Manager can be the same person.
However, the FDD does state that each subsequent Operating Principal and Designated Manager must attend the Initial Training unless Beem Light Sauna agrees otherwise in writing. This implies that the roles can be held by different individuals, but it does not exclude the possibility of one person holding both positions.
To clarify whether the Operating Principal can also serve as the Designated Manager for a Beem Light Sauna franchise, prospective franchisees should seek explicit confirmation from the franchisor. This confirmation should ideally be in writing to avoid any misunderstandings. Understanding this aspect is crucial for planning the operational structure and ensuring compliance with Beem Light Sauna's requirements.
