What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for covering the travel and living expenses for themselves and their designated manager to attend the initial training program. Beem Light Sauna provides the initial training itself at no additional charge for the initial required trainees, provided they all attend the same training session.
However, if additional training is needed, Beem Light Sauna reserves the right to charge a training fee of up to $1,000 per trainee per day. This fee applies to anyone repeating the program, replacing someone who didn't pass, or for any subsequent operating principal, designated manager, or employee attending the program. Currently, the training fee is $500 per trainee per day.
This means a prospective Beem Light Sauna franchisee needs to budget for transportation, accommodation, meals, and other living costs for themselves and their manager during the initial training. Additionally, they should factor in the potential cost of $500 to $1,000 per day per person for any additional training that may be required beyond the initial session. This could arise if someone fails the training or if new personnel need to be trained later on.
