What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beem Light Sauna Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must present themselves to the public as independent contractors operating their studio under a license from Beem Light Sauna. To ensure this, Beem Light Sauna requires franchisees to display a sign in a conspicuous location within the studio, stating that the studio is independently owned and operated by an authorized licensee of Beem Light Sauna's marks, using language designated by the franchisor.

This notice, or similar language specified by Beem Light Sauna, must be included on various materials. These include forms, advertising materials, promotional materials, business cards, receipts, letterhead, contracts, stationary, and other written materials that Beem Light Sauna designates. This requirement aims to clarify that the franchisee is an independent entity and not directly part of Beem Light Sauna corporate operations.

For a prospective Beem Light Sauna franchisee, this means they will need to incorporate the mandated disclaimer on a wide array of business-related items. This ensures customers and other parties understand the studio is locally owned and operated under a franchise agreement. Failing to comply with this requirement could result in a breach of the franchise agreement, as it is a condition of maintaining the franchise license.
