What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Development Agreement can be modified. Section 10 of the Development Agreement states that modifications are permissible only if both parties agree to them in writing. This requirement ensures that any changes to the original agreement are formally documented and agreed upon by both Beem Light Sauna and the franchisee, providing clarity and legal protection for both parties.

This provision is typical in franchise agreements, as it prevents unilateral changes and ensures mutual consent. For a prospective Beem Light Sauna developer, this means that any desired changes to the Development Agreement must be negotiated and documented in writing to be valid. This protects the franchisee from unexpected or unagreed-upon changes imposed by Beem Light Sauna.

It is important for a potential Beem Light Sauna franchisee to understand this clause, as verbal agreements or understandings outside the written contract may not be enforceable. Therefore, all negotiations and modifications should be carefully documented and formally agreed upon in writing to avoid future disputes.
