Prior to opening the Studio, you (or your Operating Principal, if you are an Entity) and your Designated Manager (collectively, "Required Trainees") must personally attend and satisfactorily complete our initial training program ("Initial Training"). We will provide Initial Training as soon as practicable after the execution and delivery of this Agreement at our offices, at any other location that we designate, and/or remotely via recorded media, teleconference, videoconference, the Internet, webinar, or any other means, as we determine. We will determine the length, timing, location, and substance of Initial Training in our sole discretion. We may waive a portion of Initial Training or alter the training schedule if we determine that your Required Trainees have sufficient prior experience or training or have previously been trained at one of our Studios. Each subsequent Operating Principal and Designated Manager must attend our Initial Training unless we otherwise agree in writing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beem Light Sauna Franchise Disclosure Document, Beem Light Sauna determines the specifics of the initial training program. The FDD states that Beem Light Sauna has the sole discretion to determine the length, timing, location, and substance of the Initial Training. This training is mandatory for the franchisee (or their Operating Principal if the franchisee is an entity) and their Designated Manager, collectively referred to as "Required Trainees".
Beem Light Sauna will provide the Initial Training as soon as practical after the franchise agreement is executed. Beem Light Sauna may also waive a portion of the Initial Training or alter the schedule if the Required Trainees have sufficient prior experience or training, or have been previously trained at one of their Studios.
This means that prospective Beem Light Sauna franchisees have little to no control over the structure and content of the initial training program. Franchisees must rely on Beem Light Sauna to provide adequate training to operate a studio effectively. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that failure to successfully complete the Initial Training, as determined by Beem Light Sauna, requires repeating the training or sending replacement trainees, without any refund of the initial franchise fees.
