What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Opening Deadline' is defined as the date by which the franchisee must open their studio, which is no later than 270 days after the effective date of the Franchise Agreement. Beem Light Sauna may extend this deadline at its discretion.

If a franchisee needs more time to open their Beem Light Sauna studio, they can request an extension from the company. However, Beem Light Sauna may require the franchisee to pay an extension fee of $2,500 for each studio for each month (or portion thereof) that the opening deadline is extended. Additionally, Beem Light Sauna may require the franchisee to execute a general release as a condition of granting the extension.

This extension policy also applies to any Signing Deadline or Opening Deadline outlined in the Development Schedule if the franchisee has entered into a Development Agreement with Beem Light Sauna. This provides some flexibility for franchisees facing unforeseen delays, but it comes at a cost and is not guaranteed, as the extension is at Beem Light Sauna's sole discretion. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider their timeline for opening and factor in potential delays and extension fees when planning their investment.
