What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beem Light Sauna's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while mandatory training programs do not incur a charge, Beem Light Sauna may charge a reasonable fee for optional training programs. This means that franchisees might need to budget for additional training costs if they choose to participate in these optional programs to further enhance their skills or their employees' capabilities. The FDD does not specify the amount of this potential fee.

Beem Light Sauna also has the right to assign trainers to a studio if the franchisee fails to maintain the quality and service standards outlined in the manuals. In such cases, Beem Light Sauna may charge a fee of up to $1,000 per trainer per day, in addition to covering their travel and living expenses. This highlights the importance of adhering to the brand's standards to avoid these additional costs.

Furthermore, if a Designated Manager leaves their position and a replacement cannot be immediately trained, Beem Light Sauna may provide a temporary manager for a reasonable fee, which will be the Management Fee. This ensures continuity of operations but also adds an expense for the franchisee until a permanent replacement is trained. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the typical costs associated with optional training programs and the Management Fee to better understand potential operational expenses.
