What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beem Light Sauna Franchise Disclosure Document, prospective franchisees are required to complete a Compliance Questionnaire before signing the Franchise Agreement. However, this requirement does not apply if the franchise will be operated in, or if the franchisee is a resident of, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin.
This means that if you plan to operate a Beem Light Sauna franchise in any of the listed states, you will not need to complete the Compliance Questionnaire. The questionnaire is designed to confirm that the franchisee understands the terms of the contract and that no unauthorized statements or promises have been made.
For franchisees operating outside of these specified states, completing the Compliance Questionnaire is a mandatory step before finalizing the franchise agreement. This ensures that both the franchisor and franchisee are aligned on the terms and conditions, reducing potential misunderstandings or disputes later on.
