What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Beem Light Sauna and its affiliates do not offer any direct or indirect financing arrangements to franchisees for establishing or operating a studio. Furthermore, neither Beem Light Sauna nor its affiliates will guarantee a franchisee's promissory note, lease, or any other obligations to third parties.
This means that prospective Beem Light Sauna franchisees must secure their own financing through banks, credit unions, or other lending institutions. Franchisees should prepare a solid business plan and financial projections to present to potential lenders. They may also need to provide collateral or personal guarantees to obtain financing.
While Beem Light Sauna does not offer financing, Item 7 of the FDD notes that the estimated initial investment includes costs to start the business, assuming the franchisee will rent the premises from a third-party landlord. The FDD also states that the estimate for the Initial FF&E Package assumes that franchisees will finance it through a third-party vendor via a lease-to-own or equivalent financing arrangement. This package includes the equipment (saunas, red light system), a touchscreen monitor, iPads, certain furniture, fixtures, and other items. If a franchisee chooses to forego financing and instead purchase the Initial FF&E Package, the estimated cost will range from $148,500 to $195,500, payable to Beem Light Sauna.
