What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the standards, specifications, requirements, criteria, and policies that Beehive Homes develops for franchisees are subject to change in the future. These standards apply to various aspects of the Homes, including design, construction, renovation, appearance, equipping, furnishing, operation, maintenance, marketing, services, and advertising.

This means that as a Beehive Homes franchisee, you must adhere not only to the current standards but also to any future modifications or updates made by Beehive Homes. These changes can be communicated through the Manual, the Franchise Agreement, or other written communications. It is crucial for franchisees to stay informed about these changes to ensure compliance and maintain the quality and consistency of Beehive Homes' brand.

The ability of a franchisor like Beehive Homes to modify standards is common in franchising. This allows the franchisor to adapt to changing market conditions, improve operational efficiency, and maintain brand consistency across all locations. For a franchisee, this means being prepared to invest further in renovations, new equipment, or training to meet evolving brand standards.

The Beehive Homes FDD specifies that the 'Standards' include all criteria and policies that 'have been and may be in the future developed and compiled by Franchisor'. This statement makes it clear that franchisees must remain flexible and adaptable to changes implemented by Beehive Homes to uphold the brand's reputation and standards.
