What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Standards' encompass various aspects of the franchise operation. These standards are designed to maintain uniformity and quality across all Beehive Homes locations. Franchisees must adhere to these standards to ensure consistent service and protect the brand's reputation. The standards cover the design and specifications of the home, including architectural drawings and the required 'trade dress'.

Beehive Homes provides general architectural and design drawings as guidelines for the home's trade dress, and any modifications require prior written approval from Beehive Homes. The standards also include an itemization of furnishings, equipment, and supplies. Franchisees must also comply with Beehive Homes' specifications for all supplies, products, and services, and may be required to purchase particular items meeting certain standards to maintain uniformity. Additionally, Beehive Homes will provide one standard exterior sign bearing the name 'BEE HIVE HOMES®'.

Furthermore, the standards extend to the services provided at the home, which must conform to Beehive Homes' specifications. Franchisees must maintain the interior and exterior of the home in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition, according to Beehive Homes' standards. Beehive Homes may conduct inspections to ensure these standards are maintained and can remove any products that do not meet the required standards. Franchisees are also required to provide sufficient management and supervisory personnel, in accordance with the manual, Beehive Homes' standards, and applicable laws and regulations. Finally, franchisees must use advertising and promotional materials that adhere to Beehive Homes' standards and have been approved in writing by Beehive Homes.
