When are the specifications for furniture, fixtures and equipment provided to a Beehive Homes franchisee?

For certain items of furniture, fixtures and equipment, and supplies and materials, WE may provide you with specifications which may include minimum standards for performance, warranties, design, appearance and other restrictions. YOU may purchase items which meet specifications from any source. Specifications are provided to YOU after signing the Franchise Agreement and are found in OUR Owner/Operator Training Outline. WE currently do not
maintain a list of approved suppliers and do not maintain criteria for approving suppliers of the items listed in this paragraph. Any supplier which is able to provide these items meeting OUR specifications is, in effect, an approved supplier. YOU may determine which suppliers meet OUR specifications without OUR prior approval. However, any determination by YOU is subject to OUR review.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specifications for certain furniture, fixtures, equipment, supplies, and materials are provided to franchisees after they sign the Franchise Agreement. These specifications may include minimum standards for performance, warranties, design, appearance, and other restrictions. These specifications can be found in the Beehive Homes Owner/Operator Training Outline.
Beehive Homes does not maintain a list of approved suppliers or criteria for approving suppliers for these items. Franchisees can purchase items meeting the specifications from any source, effectively making any supplier who meets the specifications an approved supplier. Franchisees are responsible for determining which suppliers meet Beehive Homes' specifications without prior approval from the company.
However, Beehive Homes retains the right to review the franchisee's supplier determinations. This means that while franchisees have the autonomy to choose suppliers, Beehive Homes can still ensure that the chosen suppliers meet the required standards and specifications. This process allows franchisees flexibility while maintaining brand consistency and quality standards across all Beehive Homes locations.
