What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beehive Homes Franchise Disclosure Document, several sections of the Franchise Agreement outline compliance standards and policies for franchisees. Section 8.1 states the franchisee must construct, equip, staff, and own one Home, open it within three years of the agreement's effective date, and continuously operate it using the Beehive Homes system, names, and marks. This operation must comply with the agreement and standards to provide high-quality service. While Beehive Homes provides the standards, the franchisee has day-to-day control of the business.

Section 8.2 requires franchisees to comply with Beehive Homes' standards, including specifications for supplies, products, and services. Beehive Homes may require franchisees to purchase specific items meeting certain standards to maintain uniformity across all locations. Unless otherwise specified, franchisees can purchase supplies from any source that meets the required standards.

Section 8.3 mandates adherence to the standards in the Beehive Homes manual, with franchisees responsible for keeping state-specific portions current. The manual's contents must remain confidential, and all copies must be returned upon termination of the agreement. Section 8.4 requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, prohibiting any activity that violates these laws or results in public criticism of the Beehive Homes system. These sections collectively ensure that franchisees operate within the established framework and maintain the brand's standards and reputation.
