Answer from 2025 FDD Document

7.2. Home Design and Specifications. Franchisor will provide general architectural and design drawings, which may include elevations, floor plans and number of beds, as guidelines for the required "trade dress" of the Home. Any variation, alteration or modification of these guidelines shall require the prior written approval of Franchisor. Franchisor will also provide an itemization of all furnishings, equipment and supplies to be used in the operation of the Home. Additional Homes or any increase in the number of beds may be constructed at the Location but only with Franchisor's prior written approval and provided that each additional Home or increase in the number of beds is subject to a separate Franchise Agreement and Franchise Fee.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beehive Homes allows franchisees to construct additional homes or increase the number of beds in existing homes, but only with prior written approval from Beehive Homes. Each additional home or increase in bed count is subject to a separate Franchise Agreement and Franchise Fee.

While the FDD excerpt confirms that franchisees can expand their operations, it does not explicitly detail the specific criteria for a franchisee to be considered in 'good standing' to acquire additional franchises. The document does emphasize that franchisees must maintain Beehive Homes' standards of quality and service.

To fully understand the requirements for being in 'good standing' and the process for acquiring additional Beehive Homes franchises, prospective franchisees should directly ask Beehive Homes for detailed information. This inquiry should cover specific performance metrics, financial criteria, and any other conditions that must be met to qualify for further expansion opportunities.
