What is the required duration of the Beehive Homes training program?

7 | No less than one week prior to opening of YOUR Bee Hive Home YOU and YOUR resident manager are required to attend and complete a mandatory training program which will be held at a location designated by US. Training programs may be held at Bee Hive Homes headquarters or at other locations where a Bee Hive Home is in operation. There is no charge to you for the training program, but YOU must bear the cost of lodging and meals for YOURSELF,
and travel, lodging and meals for YOUR resident manager and any other persons you desire to be trained at the training program.
The training course consists of up to three (3) non-consecutive days. During the training course YOU and YOUR resident manager will be instructed in Home operations and management and will be given "hands on" experience in all phases of Home operations. At the training program YOU will be given a copy of the Bee Hive Homes Policy and Procedure Manual described earlier and an outline of the Bee Hive Homes Owner/Operator Training, unless one has been previously provided to YOU. The training sessions will cover the basic elements that are necessary for the operation of a Bee Hive Home.
The training program is based on the Bee Hive Homes Policy and Procedure Manual and the Bee Hive Homes Owner/Operator Training Outline.
Training programs are scheduled on an "as needed" basis.
Training is conducted by OUR representatives who are familiar with and understand the franchise practices and policies. The person in charge of training is Twayne K. Walker. Mr. Walker has been involved with Bee Hive Homes as an owner and operator since 1987 and is experienced in all aspects of franchise operations. Mr.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beehive Homes Franchise Disclosure Document, both the franchisee and their resident manager must complete a mandatory training program prior to opening their Beehive Homes location. This training program is scheduled no less than one week before the opening. The training consists of up to three non-consecutive days. The training location is designated by Beehive Homes and may be held at their headquarters or at an operating Beehive Homes location.
The Beehive Homes training covers home operations and management, providing hands-on experience in all phases of operations. Franchisees will receive a copy of the Beehive Homes Policy and Procedure Manual and an outline of the Owner/Operator Training. The training program is based on these materials and covers the basic elements necessary to operate a Beehive Homes franchise. These training programs are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
While there is no charge for the training program itself, franchisees are responsible for covering their own lodging and meals. They must also pay for the travel, lodging, and meals for their resident manager and any other individuals they wish to have trained. At the end of the training, franchisees must demonstrate reasonable knowledge of Home operations.
