Who is required to complete the training program for a Beehive Homes franchise?

YOU and YOUR resident manager are required to complete a training program of up to three (3) days duration at a location designated by US. (paragraph 7.4 of the Franchise Agreement)
No less than one week prior to opening of YOUR Bee Hive Home YOU and YOUR resident manager are required to attend and complete a mandatory training program which will be held at a location designated by US. Training programs may be held at Bee Hive Homes headquarters or at other locations where a Bee Hive Home is in operation. There is no charge to you for the training program, but YOU must bear the cost of lodging and meals for YOURSELF,
and travel, lodging and meals for YOUR resident manager and any other persons you desire to be trained at the training program.
The training course consists of up to three (3) non-consecutive days. During the training course YOU and YOUR resident manager will be instructed in Home operations and management and will be given "hands on" experience in all phases of Home operations. At the training program YOU will be given a copy of the Bee Hive Homes Policy and Procedure Manual described earlier and an outline of the Bee Hive Homes Owner/Operator Training, unless one has been previously provided to YOU. The training sessions will cover the basic elements that are necessary for the operation of a Bee Hive Home.
WE currently do not require that YOU attend additional training programs or refresher courses.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, both the franchisee and their resident manager are required to complete the initial training program. This mandatory training is held at a location designated by Beehive Homes and must be completed no less than one week prior to the Beehive Homes location opening. The training program lasts up to three non-consecutive days.
The Beehive Homes training covers home operations and management, providing hands-on experience in all phases of operations. Franchisees and their resident managers will receive a copy of the Beehive Homes Policy and Procedure Manual and an outline of the Owner/Operator Training. The training sessions cover the basic elements necessary for operating a Beehive Homes franchise.
While there is no charge for the training program itself, franchisees are responsible for covering the costs of lodging and meals for themselves. They must also cover travel, lodging, and meals for their resident manager and any other individuals they wish to have trained. Beehive Homes does not currently require franchisees to attend additional training programs or refresher courses.
