What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a representative will reasonably assist franchisees with operational problems. Specifically, a Beehive Homes representative will be available to consult with franchisees during the continuing operations of their Home. However, this assistance is provided on the terms and for additional compensation as may be mutually agreed upon by both parties. This means that while initial assistance is provided, ongoing support for operational issues may incur extra costs for the franchisee.
This arrangement is fairly common in the franchise industry, where franchisors often provide initial training and support but may charge additional fees for ongoing or specialized assistance. It is important for prospective Beehive Homes franchisees to understand the scope of initial support and the potential costs associated with ongoing operational assistance. Franchisees should budget for these potential expenses and factor them into their overall financial projections.
While Beehive Homes may publish newsletters, introduce new programs, and provide consultation during visits by their representatives, they are not obligated to do so. Furthermore, Beehive Homes may enter into separate consulting contracts with franchisees at the franchisee's discretion to provide individual counseling for their Home. If such a contract is entered into, the compensation base will not be less than $300.00 per day, which includes all costs for their representatives. This highlights that while some support is included, more in-depth or continuous support will come at an additional cost to the franchisee.
