What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as an incentive for Beehive Homes to enter into the franchise agreement, the franchisee confirms that all statements and materials submitted during the application and purchase process are accurate and complete. The franchisee also asserts that there have been no misrepresentations or significant omissions made. Beehive Homes' approval of the franchise is contingent upon the franchisee's representations and warranties.
Furthermore, the franchisee acknowledges receiving the Franchise Agreement at least seven calendar days before signing, confirming its completeness in all material respects upon receipt. They also confirm that they have read and understand all obligations, have had the opportunity to consult with advisors, and are entering the agreement based on their own independent investigation, not due to representations contrary to the agreement or the franchise disclosure document.
This acknowledgement is a standard practice in franchising, intended to protect the franchisor from future claims of misrepresentation or misunderstanding. By signing the agreement, the franchisee confirms they have done their due diligence and are aware of the obligations and risks involved. This helps ensure that franchisees are making informed decisions and reduces the likelihood of disputes arising from a lack of understanding.
