What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beehive Homes does not offer financing to franchisees for any of the initial investment items. Item 7 states that "WE do not offer financing to franchisees for any of these items." This means prospective franchisees must secure funding for all initial investment costs through their own means, such as personal savings, loans from third-party lenders, or other financing options.
Specifically, Beehive Homes does not finance any part of the initial investment, including the initial franchise fee. The initial franchise fee is $75,000 for the first franchise. Franchisees are also responsible for obtaining a building lot and constructing the Home, with costs varying widely from approximately 8,000 to 12,000 square feet. These construction costs, along with expenses for furniture, fixtures, equipment, supplies, insurance, and additional funds for employees, must be covered by the franchisee without financial assistance from Beehive Homes.
Given that Beehive Homes does not provide financing, it is crucial for potential franchisees to carefully review the estimated initial investment costs, which range from $3,400,000 to $5,100,000, and to consult with a business advisor to assess their financial readiness. This includes securing necessary funding through external sources and understanding the payment schedules for various expenses, such as lump sum payments for the initial franchise fee and furniture, fixtures, and equipment, as well as as-incurred payments for building, architectural fees, and other professional fees. Understanding these financial obligations is essential for a successful Beehive Homes franchise launch.
