What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beehive Homes Franchise Disclosure Document, Beehive Homes has the right to modify or discontinue the use of its Names and Marks at its sole discretion. If Beehive Homes decides to modify or discontinue any Names and Marks, the only obligation they have to the franchisee is to reimburse the franchisee for the actual costs of changing signs and replacing printed matter to comply with the change.
This means that as a Beehive Homes franchisee, you must comply with any changes Beehive Homes makes to its Names and Marks. While you are responsible for making the physical changes to your signage and printed materials, Beehive Homes will cover the direct costs associated with these changes. This obligation provides some financial protection to the franchisee, ensuring they are not entirely burdened with the expenses of rebranding or updating materials at the franchisor's direction.
It is important for a prospective Beehive Homes franchisee to understand that they will not be compensated for any indirect costs or lost business that may result from these changes. The reimbursement is limited to the actual costs of changing signs and replacing printed materials. Franchisees should factor in the potential for these changes and the associated disruptions when evaluating the franchise opportunity.
