Does Beehive Homes need to approve resident managers?
Beehive_Homes Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
YOU are not required by the terms of the Franchise Agreement to personally participate in the operation of the Bee Hive Home. The franchise business must be directly supervised "onsite" by YOU or a resident manager who has successfully completed the training program. The resident manager may or may not have an ownership interest in the franchise. YOU and YOUR resident manager are required to complete a training program conducted by US. YOU also agree to require each additional resident manager to be trained either by YOU or by US. Resident managers need not be approved by US.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beehive Homes does not need to approve resident managers. However, the franchisee or a resident manager must directly supervise the Beehive Homes location. Both the franchisee and the resident manager must complete a training program.
The training program is up to three days in duration and is held at a location designated by Beehive Homes. The franchisee is responsible for the costs of lodging and meals for themselves, as well as travel, lodging, and meals for the resident manager and any other individuals they want to be trained. The training covers home operations and management, providing hands-on experience in all phases of operations.
This policy provides the franchisee with flexibility in choosing their resident managers without needing additional approval from Beehive Homes. However, it is crucial that all resident managers complete the required training to ensure they are well-equipped to manage the Beehive Homes location effectively. This ensures consistent standards and quality of care across all franchised locations.
