What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beehive Homes Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees play a crucial role in maintaining the brand's identity and uniqueness. Beehive Homes may require franchisees to purchase specific supplies, products, or services that meet certain standards. This ensures uniformity in the design, furnishings, and overall appearance of all Beehive Homes locations. However, franchisees are not restricted to these specific sources unless mandated by Beehive Homes, allowing them to source from other distributors as long as the specifications and standards are met.
Furthermore, Beehive Homes franchisees must adhere to the standards outlined in the franchise's manual. While some parts of the manual may be state-specific, it is the franchisee's responsibility to identify and keep these sections current and up-to-date. Franchisees are also obligated to protect the confidentiality of the manual's contents, preventing unauthorized disclosure and returning all forms of the manual upon termination of the franchise agreement.
To maintain the quality and standards of Beehive Homes, franchisees must use only furnishings, equipment, and supplies that comply with the specifications prescribed by Beehive Homes. Additionally, franchisees are responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the home and surrounding premises in a clean, orderly, and well-repaired condition, adhering to Beehive Homes' standards. Failure to maintain these standards can result in Beehive Homes taking corrective action at the franchisee's expense after providing a 72-hour notice to cure the default.
