Can I, as a Beehive Homes franchisee, train additional resident managers myself?
Beehive_Homes Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
YOU are not required by the terms of the Franchise Agreement to personally participate in the operation of the Bee Hive Home. The franchise business must be directly supervised "onsite" by YOU or a resident manager who has successfully completed the training program. The resident manager may or may not have an ownership interest in the franchise. YOU and YOUR resident manager are required to complete a training program conducted by US. YOU also agree to require each additional resident manager to be trained either by YOU or by US. Resident managers need not be approved by US.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are permitted to train additional resident managers themselves. The FDD specifies that while Beehive Homes requires both the franchisee and the initial resident manager to complete a training program, subsequent resident managers can be trained either by the franchisee or by Beehive Homes.
If a Beehive Homes franchisee chooses to train the new resident manager themselves, they are responsible for ensuring the training aligns with the initial training outline. However, if the franchisee is unable to conduct this training at their location, Beehive Homes will provide a regional service representative to conduct the training for a fee of not less than $300.00 per day inclusive.
This flexibility allows franchisees to manage their training costs and schedules. However, franchisees should ensure they are fully capable of delivering adequate training, as Beehive Homes also offers the training service for a fee. The franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with training additional personnel at the initial training program.
