What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted from registering, owning, or maintaining any websites related to the Home or that include any of the Beehive Homes names and marks without prior written approval from the franchisor. The only domain names, sites, or site contractors that a franchisee may use relating to the Home or the Franchise Agreement are those that Beehive Homes assigns or approves in writing.
Beehive Homes requires franchisees to incorporate specific information on their websites in a manner deemed necessary by Beehive Homes to protect its names and marks. Any use of the marks on any site must conform to Beehive Homes' requirements, including the identity and graphics standards for all Homes.
Given the changing nature of technology, Beehive Homes reserves the right to withhold or withdraw approval for websites and to modify its requirements. This means that even if a franchisee's website is initially approved, Beehive Homes can later require changes or even disapprove the site altogether. Franchisees must also obtain legal licenses or rights to post any material on their sites in which a third party has any direct or indirect ownership interest.
