What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are obligated to comply with the standards set by the franchisor. The franchisee must operate their home in compliance with the agreement and the standards, ensuring courteous, uniform, and high-quality service. This includes adhering to the standards outlined in the manual, which may have state-specific portions that the franchisee must keep current.
Beehive Homes franchisees must follow the franchisor's specifications for all supplies, products, and services. The franchisor can mandate the purchase of particular items that meet certain standards to maintain uniformity across all Beehive Homes locations. While franchisees can generally source supplies from distributors that meet the franchisor's standards, Beehive Homes retains the right to specify particular suppliers.
Furthermore, Beehive Homes franchisees must ensure their home's management, supervision, and personnel meet the franchisor's standards, as well as comply with all applicable laws and industry standards. Beehive Homes can conduct quality control inspections to ensure these standards are maintained and can remove any non-resident products that do not meet the required standards. Franchisees must also provide services that align with the franchisor's standards and use furnishings, equipment, and supplies that comply with the franchisor's specifications. The interior and exterior of the home must be maintained to the highest degree of cleanliness and repair, according to Beehive Homes' standards. These obligations ensure consistency and quality across all Beehive Homes franchises.
