What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must notify Beehive Homes in writing at least four weeks before the completion of construction of their location. This advance notice is required so that Beehive Homes can schedule representatives to assist with the opening procedures. The actual opening date will be determined through mutual agreement between the franchisee and Beehive Homes.

This requirement ensures that Beehive Homes can provide adequate support and supervision during the critical opening phase. This support includes assistance with engaging staff, training personnel in food preparation, marketing, inventory control, and promotional programs. By giving Beehive Homes ample notice, franchisees can better coordinate the opening process and ensure a smooth launch.

Missing the notification deadline could potentially delay the opening of the Beehive Homes location, as it might take time to schedule the necessary support staff. Franchisees should, therefore, closely monitor their construction timeline and communicate proactively with Beehive Homes to avoid any delays. This requirement is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisors typically want to ensure that new locations open successfully and in accordance with brand standards.
