What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees and their resident managers are required to complete an initial training program that lasts up to three non-consecutive days. This training is mandatory and must be completed no less than one week prior to the opening of the Beehive Homes location. The training location is designated by Beehive Homes and may be held at their headquarters or at an operational Beehive Homes location.
While there is no charge for the training program itself, franchisees are responsible for covering their own lodging and meals, as well as the travel, lodging, and meal expenses for their resident manager and any other individuals they wish to have trained. The training covers home operations and management, providing hands-on experience in all aspects of running a Beehive Homes franchise. Franchisees will receive a copy of the Beehive Homes Policy and Procedure Manual and an outline of the Owner/Operator Training during the program, unless these have been provided earlier.
The training program is structured around the Beehive Homes Policy and Procedure Manual and the Owner/Operator Training Outline. These training programs are scheduled on an as-needed basis. The goal of the training is to ensure that franchisees have a mutually acceptable base of knowledge regarding Beehive Homes operations, and franchisees must demonstrate a reasonable understanding of these operations upon completion of the program. The FDD indicates that Beehive Homes does not currently require franchisees to attend additional training programs or refresher courses after the initial training.
