What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'System' does include advertising. The FDD specifies that the 'System' encompasses elements that distinguish the Beehive Homes operation, providing a similar, distinctive, high-quality service to the public.
Specifically, the Beehive Homes 'System' includes not only the brand's names and marks, trade name, and standards, but also advertising, publicity, and other marketing programs and materials. This indicates that franchisees are expected to adhere to Beehive Homes' advertising and marketing strategies as part of their franchise operation.
This is a common practice in franchising, where franchisors maintain control over branding and marketing to ensure consistency across all locations. For a prospective Beehive Homes franchisee, this means that they will likely be required to use the franchisor's approved advertising materials and participate in marketing programs, which could impact their local marketing efforts and budget.
