What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 'Standards' encompass all the specifications, requirements, criteria, and policies developed by Beehive Homes for franchisees. These standards relate to various aspects of the Beehive Homes business, including design, construction, renovation, appearance, equipping, furnishing, supplying, opening, operating, maintaining, marketing, services, service levels, quality, and quality assurance of the Homes. These standards apply to advertising and accounting practices as well. These standards can be found in the Manual, the Franchise Agreement, or other written communications from Beehive Homes.

Beehive Homes retains the right to periodically revise and update these standards. Franchisees are obligated to adhere to these standards to maintain uniformity and quality across all Beehive Homes locations. This compliance extends to specifications for supplies, products, and services used in the Homes. While franchisees may source supplies from distributors meeting the required specifications, Beehive Homes can mandate the purchase of specific items to maintain the brand's identity and the Homes' unique design.

To ensure adherence to these standards, Beehive Homes or its representatives can inspect the premises of the Home. If any products not belonging to a resident do not meet the required standards, Beehive Homes has the right to remove them. Franchisees are also responsible for maintaining the Home's interior and exterior to the highest degree of cleanliness, orderliness, sanitation, and repair, as dictated by Beehive Homes' standards. Failure to comply with these standards can result in Beehive Homes taking corrective actions at the franchisee's expense after providing notice and an opportunity to rectify the issue.
